BRIEF: Teen pleads guilty in pellet gun attack on school bus driver
Source: The Knoxville News-Sentinel, Tenn.self storageSept. 06--KNOXVILLE -- A teenage boy pleaded guilty Thursday to charges that he shot a school bus driver with a pellet gun in South Knoxville last month, authorities said.The 17-year-old was arrested Aug. 14 on charges of aggravated assault and reckless endangerment. The teen fired several shots from an Airsoft gun at the passing school bus on Joe Lewis Road, hitting the driver "a couple of times," said Knoxville Police Department spokesman Darrell DeBusk.The shots left welts on the driver's skin but he declined treatment.
