"We played a couple of tough teams that exploited our weakness so we can work on them."Cibola has not started 0-2 since at least 2004.Gila Ridge roughed up by CentralThe Gila Ridge football team didn't fare well in El Centro on Friday.The Hawks were dominated by Central, which won 33-0 at home to send Gila Ridge to its second straight loss to start the year."They just played well," Gila Ridge coach Tom Hurt said of the Spartans, who beat Kofa in Week 1. "They were well-prepared for us."The Hawks also lost quarterback Brandon Kehl to a concussion in the first quarter. Hurt said chances were he wouldn't play next week but the Hawks will wait until they get word from the trainer.San Pasqual rolls to 2-0A week after a 44-point shutout win, the San Pasqual football team won 64-0 at home against Tohono O'odham on Frself storageday.Quarterback Rigo Garcia threw for 60 yards and two touchdowns and added 113 yards and three scores on the ground.
