Highland man pleads guilty in child porn case

Source: The Telegraph, Alton, Ill.迷你倉最平Nov. 01--EDWARDSVILLE -- A Highland man has pleaded guilty and was sentenced to six years in prison on his guilty plea to a count of child pornography, after he allegedly solicited teenage women nationwide to send him lewd pictures.Daniel Albright, 39, was originally charged with four counts of child pornography but pleaded guilty in exchange for the prosecution's agreement to drop three of the charges.He is now serving time in the Graham Correctional Center after the plea agreement was reached Sept. 9. He is also required to register as a sex offender.Albright was charged last February by the Madison County State's Attorney's Office. He was indicted by a grand jury in May.The indictment states he persuaded, induced, enticed or coerced a child he knew to be under the age of 18 to engage in a video depiction of masturbation.The indictment also charged him with three similar counts with the same child. The child was 17 when the crime occurred.The case was uncovered after the Madison County Sheriff's Departmen迷你倉 was notified by the Illinois Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force that high-school age females from California were being solicited to send nude images through the Internet to a person believed to be from Madison County.Albright was accused a posing as a teenage male and using social networks to befriend high school-age girls throughout the country.Forensic computer investigators from the Sheriff's Department identified the suspect as Albright.After obtaining a search warrant, deputies searched Albright's home and seized and analyzed his digital media, which contained numerous images of child pornography.Deputies identified one of the victims as a 17-year-old girl from West Virginia."Investigators learned the Albright, posing as a teenage boy, befriended the victim through a social network and solicited her for the images," Capt.
